Born from a love of music, words, and community, this space was created by a student who grew up surrounded by bold creatives and free thinkers. What began as collaborative projects and creative exchanges among close friends grew into a larger vision: to build a space where others could feel that same spark. Jonny Kachow, a DJ based in San Luis Obispo, reflects on his growth within the EDM scene as it has evolved away from phone-free, community-centered environments. He also discusses the sense of camaraderie fostered through his involvement in his fraternity and water polo team, the support his mother has given him through his career, and the artists working to preserve and sustain club culture.
